CHIP LAMP

The CHIP lamp was inspired by the comforting bulkiness of CRT monitors, mixed with the clean rectangular look of Braun designs. With a large pivoting front panel, it is meant to be used as a wall-mounted work lamp.
The moodboard was sourced from all corners of the internet, then laid out on Adobe Illustrator. It shows my intent to make it somewhat brutalist and industrial.
The 3D model was created on Solidworks and rendered on Keyshot. Some touch-ups were made on Photoshop and Illustrator.
I created the CHIP lamp by bending sheet aluminum, soldering an LED panel and sand-blasting most parts. My process is explained in this video edited in Premiere Pro.
