The DYAD Bento was created on Solidworks, then imported to Keyshot, where I texturized it and made an animation, as well as rendered it onto a photograph. Additional touch-up work was done on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
bento: deriving from Chinese term biandang (便當), meaning "convenient" or "convenience".
A bento box is a traditional japanese single-serving packed meal, typically eaten for lunch time. It is usually composed of one carb, one protein, and a few vegetables. For that reason, most bento boxes have multiple compartments.
The Dyad bento plays with that compartmentalization by having two rotating lids that may separate two different meals.
